Properties of polyurethane plates
The core of the panel is made of PIR or PUR polyurethane foam with very good thermal insulation parameters, and the facings are made of aluminum foil, composite laminate with an aluminum layer on the outside, mineral fleece, etc. Polyurethane panels are resistant to chemicals, fungi, bacteria and rodents. Permanent thermal insulation parameters of the panels are ensured by the closed-cell structure of the material and the tight veneer of the panels. The undoubted advantage of PUR and PIR boards is that they are characterized by low water absorption. As a result, the impact of moisture on thermal insulation is much lower than in the case of other types of thermal insulation. Low volume weight and high compressive strength make it a material that is ideal for thermal insulation of flat roofs.
Thermal insulation of flat roofs with polyurethane plates
In flat roofs insulated with polyurethane plates, all construction layers are adjacent to each other and there are no gaps or air channels in them. On the supporting structure of the ceiling, a vapor barrier layer, insulation layer and a covering are laid directly. The appropriate thermal insulation of the roof is ensured by a layer of panels and a fall layer made of polyurethane fittings selected for the given shape of the roof. The advantage of polyurethane panels is their quick installation on a trapezoidal sheet or on a reinforced concrete ceiling and other load-bearing surfaces of a flat roof. Additionally, it can be used with various types of vapor barriers and waterproofing. Thanks to the use of polyurethane panels, we will increase the energy efficiency of buildings, and therefore we will reduce the expenses related to their use.
